If you want more power from your CSE (I have a 1993 CSE too) you have several choices, but dropping in an Aero ECU is not one of them, unless you change the turbo.
You could upgrade the exhaust system, particularly the downpipe: going over to a turbo-back 3" system might give you 10 more bhp, so if your exhaust is shot that's quite a cheap way to go.
You could then get a properly modified ECU designed for your car (tell the tuner about the exhaust if you have one!) but not all tuners deal with '93 cars – Maptun would be my suggestion. Without the exhaust you might get 245 bhp (much more than a standard Aero) and with the exhaust say 270 bhp. But actually with just a JT exhaust and a foam air filter (ITG) I get 165bhp at the wheels, and this really does enhance the car without getting silly.
Certainly an ECU, standard or modded, needs to be adapted to the engine but it will do this itself in normal driving, over time. If you want to speed up the process search this board for "adaptation".
Well before an ECU change I'd be thinking about suspension or braking modifications, 16" wheels and decent tyres – sorry, I realise you will already have some or all of these.
