Dave, Mike,
For the US market, the CS body style was not introduced until 1993; this introduction took place one year earlier for the European market. My assumption on Dave's question is that he is refering to a 1992 cd (vs. cc). '92 CD front bumper part number is 6954952; front bumper part number for '93-'98 CS is 4320461 (non-painted black version; "grey" version part number is 9081217).
I would hazard a guess that the front bumper assembly off of any '93-'98 CS would bolt up to your CD, but looking at the diagrams in SAAB's EPC, it seems as though you're going to need the complete bumper assembly, not just the bumper sheath. I base this on the part numbers for the two attaching bolts being the same, and the approximate indicated positioning of these bolts looking quite similar. I'd slide under both of them, and take a good eyeballing of the situation.
