hi jan,i think you ve missread my original post!!.coz mine is none switchable its possible that i could find my self in a fix if im on ice,as when i would try to pull away (cars without tcs would wheel spin but move)but mine would ultimately put the brakes on to stop me wheel spinning thus not letting me go anywhere!!on 93 9k,s they were made switchable to overcome this problem.as my first posting i know that i could change the ETS brain (sorry i said ecu),on mine to a 93 ETS and wire in the proper saab tcs switch, which would be as you said $$$$$!.i have been told there is another BASIC non standard way of disabling the tcs.it involves cutting a wire in the tcs curcuit and adding an"off the shelf"switch on the dash(with warning light).as the tcs and abs are conected,BOTH would then be disabled, but not go into LHM.thus i would be able to get off ice or wet grass etc(spin my way off),then when clear,ENABLE the tcs/abs by flicking the switch on the dash.as you can see its not a "want to spin the wheels at the lights etc(im too old for that now done it!!)PHEW said it.well any ideas on what is the best wire to cut and add the switch?is there a fuse for the system that i can cut into to add it.any help would be great.thanks jan
