The pictogram warning is from a switch in the door latch. The jamb switchs each have 2 sets of contacts( one for in door courtesy light, one for the interior "dome" light). The drivers door switch may also go through the the seat belt/ignition key relay on its way to the time delay relay. All 4 doors should be tied togeather on the relay side of all the switches before it gets to the relay. The switches work by appling a ground. Each of the front switches also has another connector several inches up into the jamb from the switch. If the door courtesy lights are working right your grounds are OK, the problem is up in the wiring. I seem to remember the switches ground through the screw that holds them in plce. Thats the first place I always look.The manuals do not list where the junctions are. If you have any question at all about the switches, how about swapping them front to back?
