Try this: turn off the passenger seat heaters. Then kind of slowly turn on the driver side ones. If you hear the clicking noise then the relays, fuses, wires, switches, etc, etc, etc, are OK. That means it is the heating element. This is not cheap, as it is much safer and more effective to replace the element rather than sticking the old one back together. The element is just a thin wire coiled out flat over a pad. This wire can break in one spot, often from kneeling or leaning on the seat. It is cheaper to replace the pad and element, rather than just the element, because it takes a long time (time=$) to coil out the wire over the pad. It just cost me about $350 to replace my pad and element with labor. Have a mechanic do this, not an upholstry shop because, if you have power seats, they will undoubted screw them up (sorry to any upholstry guys, its happened to me too many times!!)
