I had a similar problem on my '93 CS. Open the hood- remove the black plastic cover near the windshield (8mm? nuts. Look in the passenger side -almost in the middle. There is a motorized lever that opens and closes a door/flop which permits air to flow over the heater core, and hence generate heat. Sometimes the lever falls off or brakes. Mine was really hard to move. A big screw drive help me to move the suck.
