I may be too late, but... I have installed a system into my 91 9000 and have had great success. I took the stock tape deck out of my car when I first got it, and set up for my new CD player, the brackets and all. I first installed the CD player before moving to the other components. When running the wires I pulled the CD player out, but still had it connected. I took off both carpeted cardboard pieces under the dash, one above the pedals and hood release, the other in the pasengers foot area. This way I could get to the back of my stereo area for the RCA cables to attach to the sub-output connectors and also to attch my signal wire. I took off the door sill molding for all 4 doors of my car. For the passenger side I ran my RCA cables and signal wire down the sill with the other wires (power windows/locks/all those wires). For the drivers side I took my power cable and fed it through the eyelet to the engine bay to connect to the battery, then carefully tucked the 4 gauge wire in with the other wires in the driver side sill. When the wires were run back I put the black sills back on, snaping on the saab caps, which seal it, where you do not see the wires at all. When putting the cardboard pieces back on I tucked the wires up underneith so they were also hidden. For the back of the car I ran the wires under the carpet and they are only visable when going over the metal bracket which holds in the spare tired door. I must say I am very satisfied with this install, do not see the wires at all. I am not working on building my box which is flush with the back of the rear seats, with a custom board, instead of the one which comes with the car. I am also creating an amp rack which when folding down the seats you cannot see into the trunk, it fills the entire space. I have cut out designs in the board and am lighting it with the same color illumination as my CD player. The cold however is keeping me from my project, but for your install I reall do suggest running the wires under the door sills, they cannot be seen and it is best to seperate the power cabel and signal/RCA cables so there will be no interference!
Goodluck if Im not too late!
