Rebuilt Transmission Thank You

I just wanted to post a "Thank You" to all the people who recommended Eriksson Industries for a rebuilt tranny. The tranny on my '93 9000 exploded all over the street, leaving pieces of it and the housing littering the road.I had heard an auto transmission would last 125,000 miles, but I didn't know they were set to "blow" at 125 k. Because I did not have a core left to rebuild, Saab wanted an extra $1,800 for a core charge for their rebuilt transmission. Eriksson had enough cores in stock so they forgave the core charge so I only had to pay $2,100 + $35 shipping for a rebuilt and dyno tested transmission. Otherwise I was looking at putting in a used tranny that may have had a very short life left in it. I never thought I'd be glad to spend $2,100. Thanks again for all the good info here. I never would have known where to go without this B.B.
