Following advice from the board...Thanks for the input, I have fixed an obnoxious clunk in my 93 cse. I found that the bolts that hold the rear bushing to the front contol arm(Did you follow that) had fallen out, and the original threads were stripped. After looking at getting it bored, and rethread, I decided to try a temp/partially permananent fix. I bought a 4" 5/8 inch bolt, and ran that through the hole. Using the whole in the foot well, that I found out about from saabnet, I attached a nut, and tightened. I did have to cut a wrench in half with a dremel tool to get ahold of the nut inside the footwell. So far so good, we will see how long it lasts. I also replaced two bolts on my ball joint which had worn, and bacame loose, also a scary situation. I think I love my car again.
