'95 to '98. The differences are subtle. I think there are some additional side protection reinforcement in the later models (post '95), and they changed the door lock mechanism in '96 on so that it takes less force to open the doors from the outside (probably for kids). Otherwise, the variations are not even worth mentioning other than the usual CS, CSE, Aero, plus the 50th Anniversary Edition and the 5-sp 9K CSE with the Aero engine. Some add ons in later years I feel are more of a minus, such as the auto transmission lock.
If you want a 9K, anything within those model years would be fine. Be aware that the Aero back seats don't fold down that well, i.e. not exactly flat or close to it, you can force it by not recommended.
