Greetings,
You will have to raise seat as high as possible and look underneath to reveal broken insulation. Once this breaks, the cable moves but does not transfer energy to side of seat. I fixed mine by cutting a bic pen in half side ways and length-wise. I put this around damaged cable area and held in place with two mini hose clamps. I then doused the splice with super glue being careful not to get it in crack and onto cable. This splice has held up for two years now. You will need someone to adjust seat while you hold the broken area together with your two hands to get seat alligned again before splice repair can be done. Good luck!
