My results after a month of 225-50-16 on Aero rims... Posted by Frank [Email] (#2509) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Frank) on Tue, 4 Mar 2003 15:03:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Well I have had Bridgestone S03 in 225-50-16 on my 94 aero for about a month, there is no rubbing when cornering hard or going over a speed bump at 35 mph, however the other day on the highway when I had 4 people in the car it would rub when it was going over any bump that was significent, so basically as long as you don't have a full load the car won't rub.
Now as far as performance, well....where to begin, the car sticks to the road like glue even when it was 5 degrees outside here in new england, which reminds me that I got stuck in the snow once with the S03...not very much fun, so you guys should really believe in snow tires in the winter if your going to purchase S03's or any performance tire, but otherwise as long as you avoid snow, their all-season in my mind. Anyhoo, just wanted to update you guys, personally I'm very happy that I bought these, I ended up getting them from sears, who matched tire racks price of $148 and also no shipping or tax, at least in new hampshire.
