Try Bar's Leak but it sounds like your leak isn't going to be helped too much. I recently did the blower fan/ heater core on my 1994 9000. A little different than a 1992 but very similar nonetheless. The quasi write up and pictures were excellent. They led me through the process with very few spots where I could "go off the wrong way."
It took me a while but only becuase it takes A LOT of force to seperate the blower motor housing from the evaporator housing. After than it wasn't more than 15 mintues and some tugging on the evaporator to get the core out and replace it. Reassembly wasn't too bad either (I only lost one screw;-) )While you're there you might as well do the fan too, you don't want to have to take all that apart again later do you?
