My battery has been on the way out for the past couple of weeks--startup voltage of 9V and less. I search this BB and found quite a bit of useful information regarding battery size, so I thought I'd share what I found out, too.

Most all of the shops around town listed my battery as being Group Size 41. I measured a 41 and compared it to my current (old) battery (original), and found it to be much too long to fit the tray. Make sure to measure before purchasing! Based on previous posts here, I checked out a Group Size 34 and 78. The 78's seems like a perfect fit, size-wise.

The best warranty I could find (here in town) was for an Energizer (made by Eveready)34/78DT (DT=dual termainal) battery (900CCA, 1000CA, 120 min reserve) from Pep Boys (2yr free replacement, 84 pro-rated) for $79--I have no affiliation with Pep Boys, just wanted to share info.

The terminals were centered enough on the battery, that I didn't have to worry about buying the 78R, as was suggested on this BB, (R = reversed polarity).

To summarize for the year '94:
1) A Group size 34/78 will work (34/78R preferable, but not necessary).
2) 34/78 = 10.5x7.25x7.38"
3) Go for the battery with the best free replacement warranty, not the silly pro-rated one. That'll give you a good idea of a good/bad battery.
