But if your rotors are even a little warped or otherwise damaged, I'd replace them. Both Sobstory, and eEuroparts who are sponsors of this board have good prices on Zimmerman rotors and PBR Deluxe. Not too bad a DIY job too.
PBR also makes the MetalMaster pad which is harder. Many like Andrew feel the MM to be an excellent pad. It IS less likely to fade with constant stop and go use, as on a race track, or driving down a mountain.
But my experience has been that it also takes a while to warm up. My wife's Aero had them on last winter, and the first few times you stepped on the brake, you did not think you were going to stop. What a quick wake up! Put on the Deluxe, and they stop fine first time. I've also never had any fade in 15yrs use of this pad on a variety of Saabs. My last 9k, I put on 85k mi after replacing, and there was still around 1/2 the pad left. I feel it is a good as OEM without the dust.
