Ok, cleaning the throttle body is a good practice but is
one which you should be carefull with. Reason being:
1. You don't want to damage the TPS.
2. With excessive gum buildup, you're gonna have driveability
problem starting and running the engine smoothly right after
as the excess buildup is being burnt in the engine.
Leason learned is to remove the throttle body, clean it,
then reassemble. It's more time consuming but it's best
for your piece of mind.
