One thought I had is a potential problem with the length of the Axle shaft. There are a lot of different lenghts of the shaft and there are rebuilt shafts available which include both (cv)drivers attached. Given that this is a new to you use car, it's possible that one or both of the axles have been replaced with rebuilt units. If the passenger side axle is too short, weird symptoms have been reported here. This kind of thing would be a lot more noticeable when accelerating since that's when the maximum force is applied to the inner cv driver. I would think that the difference between accelerating and not would be very noticeable in terms of this problem. The fact that you have not noticed a distinction is a contraindication of this problem. Leading back to wheel bearing.
If it's a wheel bearing making a vibration, a professional mechanic should be able to diagnose it quickly. I have not done the wheel bearing job, but many others here have.
There is still the possibility that you have a problem related to the cv joints. Try driving in a slow circle with the wheel at maximum turn with the windows down and see if you hear a clicking noise coming from the front. That would indicate outer cv's. Heavy vibration on straight line acceleration would indicate inner cv joints.
