Thanks for the input. It turned out to be the crank sensor. Unfornuately I took it to a local garage first that does foreign cars. Needless to say $200 later they still didn't find the problem. Their diaognostics was a phone call to a "Saab expert" which did say it wasn't a fuel problem but the mechanic still didn't have a clue after 4 hrs(and $200 of my money). They did put in the proper spark plugs(it had champions)and replaced a vacuum line. To make an already long story short I took it to a Saab dealer where they found the problem, fixed it, I had an oil change and was out of there in a couple of hrs.(plus another $292). It wasn't as expensive at a dealer as I thought it was going to be. Expensive lesson.
