You might need more help than can be given over the net.
First, remove vacuum hose from fuel pressure regulator and look for gasolin coming out.
Sometimes the diaphragm ruptures inside the regulator and sends raw fuel into the intake manifold.
The next two steps is to look at the fuelpressure with a gauge and the injector time. The pressure should be around 40Psi and the injector time around 3-4 ms at cranking.
Both this things are difficult to explain and takes certain special tools and adapters.
A good Saab shop should only need about 1 to 1 1/2 hour to check both these things.
If your Air Mass Meter (AMM) is bad, it's leave the engine starving for fuel (not flooding) so I don't think that's your problem.
