I have a '94 CSE, factory clarion system with equalizer & in-dash CD player. When I installed my trunk mount changer I took the head unit out of the dash to look for the other end of the DIN cable...To my suprise it was already plugged into the head unit. If there are two din cables plugged into the head unit, one is the in-dash player, the other is for the trunk mount changer. Put everything back in and you're ready to go.
On my '97 CSE, factory Harmon Kardon system with equalizer & in-dash player, the trunk mount cd changer cable was laying in behind the dash. It wasn't too hard to find, but you may want to take the cubby at the bottom out. With the HK system, the head unit only had one din input, so I had to purchase a separate cbus switching unit that had two inputs (in-dash player & trunk changer), with one output that plugs into the head unit.
Let me know if you find that the DIN cable from the trunk is already plugged into your head unit. Good luck.
