I have posted a few questions on a UK website asking about some electrical problems I've been having, but as i can't link to those forums I will try to post the same bits here in the hope of any help as well.
Thanks

After coming out of Tesco's earlier i managed to drop my keys on the floor.
Went to remote unlock the doors (as always), but the locks didn't budge. I could see that the alarm and immmobizer were being turned off and on etc but the locks did nothing at all.

The remote did operate the boot release.
I unlocked the car with the key and drove it home.

Fuse 16 appears to be OK, the 'Lock' rocker switch beside the electric window buttons does nothing either.

I now don't think it is the remote of course (I have tried the spare as well) otherwise the internal lock button would work.

Any idea's as to what to check for first.
As the alarm etc still works it's just a minor inconvenience at the moment
I have noticed the 'drilling' sound comes from whenever a door is shut in the car now, possibly relating to the light problem?

------------

I have noticed that the courtesy light inside the cabin is also not working along with the reversing lights (although this may just be a bulb problem, haven't checked yet).

When the door is ajar etc and the courtesy light should come on, all i get is the clear and red light in the passenger door (the warning light for other cars when the door is open just below the arm rest on the inside) trying to glow slightly.

Does anyone have any ideas?

As each day passes I seem to find more and more going wrong, and at this rate I might have to take it to the dealer for them to sort out £££££

Thanks
Skiddins
