Changed the motor mounts, a few observations...

939kcse. I got my mounts from eEuroparts, the top two and the tranny mount.
The tips posted here previously about taking off the end cap of the tranny and cutting out the metal rings of all mounts made the job worth doing. Pressing out the old mounts or trying to work the tranny mount in the car is for the birds.
The tranny mount looked to be in good condition, but was really soft. I could easily move the bushing around manually, so I believe it was really really shot. The "alternator" mount was much worse. The entire core fell righ out when I took off the wishbone. The upper frame mount was ok, but I changed it anyway.
Tips: When doing the tranny mount, jack the car up, remove wheel liner, etc, and put a jack stand under the tranny, and then lower the car back down until the stand lifts the pressure off the tranny mount. Now the bolt will come right out and the engine is supported. Leave the jack and stand in place. For easier reassembly, bend the ears of the frame mount supports out just a little to let the poly mount get started down in there a little easier.
Observations: Much Much better shifting. Much better feel during acceleration. Can really notice increased vibration when the ac is on and car is idling. Not annoying, just noteworthy. Total time for all 3 mounts: 2.5 hours.
Worth doing.
