if you have it. Then look closely at the door seals, make sure they are not loose, especially the seals on the car body (not the door) around the doors. In the older 9Ks, the door seals have a tendency to come loose with age but you have a newer car than mine (a '92) but you never know.
You must have some idea where the leak is, if it is at a door or hatch or roof, then get a strip of paper (2"X 8"), close the door/hatch/roof with this piece of paper leaving a few inches of the strip outside the car. When the opening is shut, pull on the piece of paper, if you can pull the paper out with no effort, then you know where the leak may be.
Try to take a passenger with you or have someone drive the car and with you listern for the leak around door, hatch or roof. You should feel a draft if the noise is indeed from leaky seals.
The truth is you may have something else other than leaky seal. Also, make sure the noise you are hearing isn't from the ventilation fan which can be very loud, turn the fan off first.
Let us know.
