Apolo, you mention the readout on the EDU showing odd readings and that you fill up after 300 miles when the fuel gauge is in the orange. What is needed here is the following: 1) a specific issue you are attempting to correct, 2) much more info on this issue, 3) how the car is running overall.
As far as the temperature issue I would say you may be starting to see a thermostat issue. At highway speed you should have a constant temperature reading at about 8:00 going to about 9:00 or so in heavy traffic.
With regard to the EDU they can give erroneous readings and are not really an important issue in my opinion.
The gas issue. Fuel gauges can be notoriously inaccurate over the years. I recently filled my tank with the gauge indicating <1/4 tank and 224 miles yet only took 10.5 gals. Obviously my gauge is not particularly trustworthy.
Please fill us in on exactly what you are looking to correct and as much information as possible about the nature of your concerns, i.e. fuel mileage, running condition, etc. I'm not trying to be hard on ya here, but we need a lot more than you've given up to now 'cause I personally don't see there is anything of concern from what you've said in your post.
