Seat repairs successful

I just finished repairing the drivers seat of my -94 CSE (cloth). The heater was broken and the seat bottom was sagging badly. Very straight forward job. Just removed the seat, unhooked the seat cover and peeled it off. The burn in the heater element was easy to spot (burn mark in the cover). Then I pulled the foam pad off the frame and removed all the coil springs (tired). I shortened them all by 5mm by bending and reinstalled. Added a full length of 12mm closed cell foam to the bottom (against the springwork) and put everything back together. The seat looks and "sits" like new and the heater works fine.
Thought I'd share this with you all and maybe inspire someone else to start the work. It's easier than you might think.
Best regards from Finland,
Tapani
