The car is 94cs (r134), 5 speed, 154k miles.
Over this past brutal winter, the AC compressor pulley developed a loud whining noise for a couple of weeks. It died down after temperature got back up. Now it is just noisy, quite loud I might add. AC still works fine. I got cold air.
I acquired an identical AC compressor from ebay, thinking I could replace the compressor. But if I can replace only the pulley and bearing without too much effort, I think I shoud do it. So freon won't be disturbed. Question is, how easy or difficult is it to take the AC compressor pulley apart?
