Began to have erratic performance this weekend. When travelling at speed, say 60mph, car would hesitate on accleration and buck slightly on deceleration. When attempting to accelerate hard, say merging on the interstate, car felt sluggish. Normally the car sails. Inspection revealed two minor vacuum leaks: one at the valve cover vent hose and one at the valve on the fuel bar. Replaced both lines with new hose. Car started fine and idled fine. Upon driving car seemed fine until clutched say to slow down for a stop sign or turn. At this point car would just stall. Restart is fine idle is fine. When the throttle is punched car will rev and then immediately stall. Any deceleration/ clutching stalls car meaning the problem has become worse since the weekend. Threw a can of injector cleaner in for giggles. One other consideration: when the car is idling I can hear what appears to be a savage hissing coming from the throttle body or below but cannot seem to locate a vacuum leak. Thoughts, as always, appreciated.
