The crank position sensor is an easy fix. It may have just come loose, but you won't know until you pull the main pulley on the engine. That's a two person job - one to hold the fly wheel and the other to put about 250 ft lbs on the main pulley bolt. At least mine seemed that tight. Needed a big cheater bar.
I agree about the possibility of gas in the oil. Change the oil, check your crank position sensor, replace if it's not loose in its mount, and see if all is well. Good luck.
