I ask that because fromn the outside it always seems like making more power will be simple when in fact it's not. Hp will cost money and if you tweak/adjust/modify one item, all other items will have to follow suit. Then there's the "I have a little bit more power now, but I want a little more" thoughts that run into your head. A sport exhaust and K&N filter is on a car that's in good shape is a decent place start. How much power do you want? 200Hp is a good solid number and you can probably acheice that without destroying your transmission, just please don't do any hard drop clutch launches or burnouts.

To get there (200hp):

Tweak the APC yourself (that's free) using a few of the differnt sites out there that show you how (ssearch this board for more info). If you want something better then BUY an APC upgrade ($300).

With the boost that the tweaked/upgraded APC will now provide, you'll need more fuel. Think bigger injectors at this point. Take you pick 24Lb, 27Lb, 30Lb. Either of these will work just fine in your setup, but if you think you'll want more power down the road, get the bigger injectors now (27Lb or 30Lb units)as they can support power in the 220-240 hp levels.

Note: hp levels beyond 200 will begin to cost a considerable amount more money. It's the point where other parts of the car will start showing they need upgrades as well to keep pace with the hp levels of the engine such as breaks, suspension, and so forth.

The APC and fuel upgrades I mentioned will get you up to around 200 hp. You can find like new items for sale either here(classifieds)or e-bay or wherever and that helps cause someone's always upgrading to bigger and more expensive stuff as their hp goal increases.
