enough room to get to the balance chain with a dremel from under and between crank shaft.
I have a feeling that front engine cover is covering all access to balance chain.
You also have the timing chain first in line and the balance chain further out toward engine cover.
I know that the tensioner piston doesn't pop out of housing during stationary conditions, but I cannot promise what happens when the oil pressure starts to push from behind and the piston doesn't have anything to work against since the guide is not held in place by chain.
