It confirms my observations about Konis vs. Bilsteins.
Due to seal friction Konis do have a long break in period, as do most European suspension products. Once they are broken in and adjusted mine have stayed consistent for over 50k miles.
My Koni equipped 9000 is the undisputed broken pavement champion. It will hold a line over broken pavement at speed better than any car I've ever driven.
Bilsteins, on the other hand, seem to have way too much compression damping. Compression damping improves high speed stability, but hurts the stability over rough or broken pavement. Plus, mine were shot by 30k miles.
