get the appropriate check valve then spray your old one with a lube to assist it on comeing out of the pump housing
turn it back and forth while pulling up at the same time to remove it from the housing, then cut the plastic line at the last high spot on the line to remove the check valve from the line the special tools that you need is a flaring tool (to hold the line without kinking it) and a large pair of slip joint pliers (to push the new valve in with)
set the flaring tool on thhe line about one of the notches back from the end of the line and press the valve in till it wont go no more then move the flare tool back same distance and repeat till it is in to the same depth as orininal.
first make sure that it is the check valve not the o-rings that are leaking
there a lot easier to change and they can be bought separately (takes two per line) part number for them is #79 74 546
