Look down at the slave Cylinder opening (Where Hyd line dissapears) and look to see how much of the Slave piston is exposed .. 11mm is the "new" position.. gets smaller with clutch disc wear.. Saab engineers got a few things right.
Unfortunately Slave failure often predates Clutch disc wear out.. this means you may (usually with an old tired car:-)) get to replace the clutch before the disc is completely gone. I'm in the middle of this right now.. a PITA.. but a good opportunity to fix all those other pesky problems while half the drivetrain is apart ;-)
Oil leaks, Pre-emptive replacement of the problematic Input shaft bearings, CV/tripod joint repack, engine main seals, oil lines.. lotsa stuff.
