If this system is 9yrs old, that is a very long life. I think I replaced middle and rear for under $200 from eeuroparts.com, a site sponsor. Free shipping. They sell Starla, which is similar to OEM. Also order a couple of rubber hangers, as it seems like there is often one or more weak ones.
This is a pretty easy DIY if the bolts come off easily. Ari, a regular contributor to this site, suggests soaking the nuts with rust penetrant for a week or so before tearing apart. Great suggestion, do a search for muffler on this site, and read his very good write up on the procedure from a year or two ago.
I'm always amazed at how well designed the muffler is on this car. Seems to bolt right into place and fit right every time. Would have taken me less than an hour if I had remembered to soak the bolts to the back muffler too....
Or, if you don't have the tools or resolve to climb under the car, buy the parts from a site sponsor, and ask a muffler shop to put it on. Shouldn't cost more than $50.
