I am not familiar with the harness that Crutchfield sells but you could use the factory amp to power your speakers just like you have them now, you would just replace the signal generator which is your head unit. The perfect setup would be to use a headunit that has audio preouts (usually they have just 2 (rear outputs) for any aftermarket adition, but the newer ones sometimes have 4 preouts. If you don't have those you would need voltage level limiters for the speaker outputs off your headunit, then you could use those as inputs for the factory amp without risking to burn the amp. You would have to splice into the thick black wire that comes out of your Clarion headunit(all that is: a collection of wires that carries the signal for amplification to the amp under the seat) you can get the wire color diagram from this forum probably, so you know what wire is what. Whether you do it yourself or have a shop do it for you you have to decise whether you want to use the factory amp or bypass it it's up to you, it would just be different wires you would have to splice into that's all. I think using factory amp is more simple, you keep more of your car that way too :) . Let us know how it goes.
