Welcome to the land of Saab! Sounds like you're not getting off to the best start, but I'm guessing you'll love that car once you get the kinks worked out.
Definitely need more information to diagnose this one...
First, when you say "bogs down", does it make good power then very abruptly quit? Or is it more like it never wants to make the power at all?
Second, it would be helpful to know under what conditions this happens. All the time? Or just when engine or weather is hot or cold? High speeds, low speeds? Also notice the "turbo" (boost) gauge on the dash - does the power loss seem to occur when the gauge reaches a certain reading? When you floor the gas, how high does the gauge go?
Get us as much info as you can and we can try to figure this out. And don't lose faith - some mechanics think Saabs come from Mars, but in reality they're pretty easy to troubleshoot and work on, and not really that different from other fuel-injected cars.
