Settled on a '03 9-5 Arc Sedan. We read the 9-5 boards, talked with a lot of people and read a lot of reviews. Test drove a lot of vehicles, not all Saabs. (Actually found an Leftover '02 9-5 Areo Sedan, 18 miles! Under 32K). We liked the smoothness of the V6. The 4-bangers automatics were to "shifty" for us. (Oh yea, due to my wifes chronic back problems that come and go, we are sad to say we went with an automatic). The Areo had nice top end acceleration, but the 200-hp V6 was enough for us. Heck, that's about 65% more HP than my '93 CSE has. Also, (don't tell my wife) now that I am not pressured to keep the 9000 running, I plan on fixing the CSE myself.
