I have a '93 CSET 5 spd with 185K miles, owned since new. Engine/tranny/clutch/DI/Timing Chain all original except for headgasket started leaking coolant at 57K miles. Fixed under long term SAAB warranty (for $150). Common problem with these cars. I would definitely check service history to verify that the head gasket was replaced. Car still runs great. Starting to use a little oil.

TCS only became problematic once and changing bleeder valve ($75 part) has solved that. Contrary to all the TCS bad press, it does work great in snow and wet conditions.

The other nice things about a '93 is that it is the only new body style 9000 with a glove compartment! It also has the higher torque 2.3 motor available in '91-'93 models but with the higher gear ratio tranny ('93 and up) for better fuel economy. I average 27 around town and can do 30+ on the highway in nice weather.

106K miles is not bad. Offer then $5K if you like the car.
