I thought my e-brake was sticking, coasting to a stop the car wouldn't roll to a stop it would roll and then STOP. I had the same problem in my c900 so I checked the hand brake cable at the caliper, it's not stuck. So I have no idea what could be causing this.
I'm not sure how old the rear brakes are, but they've been on the car along time (and I think they're warped as well).
The front brakes were replaced with xdrilled rotors and metal master pads back in January.
Yesterday while driving I got the smell of new brake pads (the burning/smoky smell) and my pedal felt soft, like the rear brakes had been sticking and heated the brake fluid. Could the pads and rotors be so worn the piston is sticking in the caliper?
Should I just order new rotors? (I have a set of PBR deluxe pads in the box). If I replace the rear pads I know I'll need to bleed off the extra fluid (and I have super blue to flush while I'm at it).
What do ya'll think?
TIA
Matt
