modified or not. If the previous owner installed stiffer springs and shocks (Bilstiens perhaps), then you'd probably want stock shocks installed. Maybe if you could tell us your tire size someone could recommend a more comfortable taller tire size. This would be a much cheaper option than the shocks, but you'd still have some stiffness. You could be lucky if the previous owner installed Koni shocks because then it's a matter simply adjusting them to a softer ride. If you can contact the previous owner, ask him about any mods made to the suspension.
