I had to remove it in the hopes of using a needle-nose or vice grip to move the shaft, but there is no room to maneuver in there. No part of the shaft is visible. I have a needle-nose with a bent tip but I can't get a grip on the shaft inside the housing, so now I'm looking into a bypass. I was sorta tempted to dremel a "removeable panel" into the side or top of the housing but thought better of it. (Probably a bad idea, no doubt) Anyway, thanks for trying to point me in an easier direction, but I think I'm SOL. -AMG
