Never heard of that one.
And quite honestly, I don't know why or how or with what.
When you go to install the new dashface, it will just pop in. Just be sure to work it in slowly, keeping an eye on an even installation and on all the pressure points (where the dashface curves, as well as corners). As you work it back into the dashboard, you may have to lift and pull away the padded portion to allow the plastic tabs on the wood dashface to slip past the lip of the padding.
I did mine a few months' ago (couldn't get the damn Taurus cupholder out since the holding tabs basically locked themselves against the inside of the center console, so I had to remove the whole wood dashface just to remove the cupholder...all this so I can install a set of extra gauges into the center console which I haven't done yet so now I've been driving around for months with a hole in my console...), and it wasn't that big of a deal, just time consuming since you have to work the dashface just right to get it to clear everything.
Good luck!
Joe
