Get a new valve for the broken one and have a valve grind job done on all the valves and seats. Make sure that you don't have a bad fuel injector or a vacuum leak that made the valve burn due to lean condition.
As for the blocked ports. If you have never seen a Saab head gasket before, you might mistake the blocked ports for something being wrong.
It is actually the other way around. Most of the coolant canals are blocked off by the gasket to force the coolant to flow in a certain pattern, covering the whole engine block.
If all the ports that you see in head and engine block would to be opened up in gasket, the cooling effect would be reduced and the car might over heat.
You see what I mean when you get the new gasket set.
