Check a local junk yard. You can actually take the glass out of the mirror. If you look at the bottom of your mirror you will see a little hole. Look up inside and you will see a white slotted piece of plastic. You need to get a small screw driver in there and push to one side (I think to the left) on the slots. This releases the whole plate the mirror is on and then you pull out the mirror and unplug the wires for the heater. Also, 900 and 9000 mirrors are the same. The glass that is, not the assembly, so you can take it from any 900 or 9000. Make sure it has the heater plate if you take it from an earlier 900. 2 of my mirrors suffered the same fate as yours.
Good luck, Tom
