in and it will bend if not done properly. Removal of the inside mechanism of the power lock and the latch again maybe necessary. But first try just the latch, look for a tang (isn't that an exact description) which I think is a small round shaft from the latch which will engage the latch enabler inside the door. Is that confusing enough? Hope that helps. I bent mine first time putting it together.
