Stumped with this frame/unibody problem...

In a previous post, I spoke about how my a/c fan motor housing is being pressed firmly against the frame/unibody. The motor strains to turn (since the casing spins with the fan blades) and a groove is being formed in the plastic motor casing from this, as well as it keeps blowing the 30amp fuse contained within the fuse box that is in the engine compartment (due to the resistance of the fan motor being held back).
This all started immediately on the first drive out after replacing all the engine/tranny mounts. I had to loosen the subframe to perform this task, and have been wondering if this is what caused my dilemma.
Is there a way to get things back to the way they were before? Did loosening/tightening the subframe cause this? Are the new oem rubber mounts causing this? Can the fan motor be adjusted upwards to move it off of the unibody? Exactly how much clearance is there between the unibody and the a/c fan motor housing in a normal situation (rough estimate)?
I don't think taking the car to a frame shop will do anything since the car drives/seems perfect.
I'm hoping for some clever ideas here since I am sweating like a pig to and from work every day!!!!!!
