I have a 1989 9000 CD with 177,000 miles on it. I just had the passenger side lock actuator replaced and the spacing in the window regulator worked on. Now I have a clicking from around the glovebox. The clicking happens only when the car is started and pulling the fuse for the central locking system doesn't make it stop. I had thought it was the lock actuator activating but not enough to move the knob (the lock does work by the way) but pulling the fuse doesn't make the sound stop. It sounds a lot like a relay that is activating repeatedly (I fix humans, not cars so sorry if this seems a bit simplistic). The sound wasn't there prior to having the lock actuator replaced and the window worked on. Any ideas? It is starting to drive me crazy.
