Thanks TRJ.....
Yeah, I read Quasi's page, looked at the pics and went to all the related links....it helped a bunch. I'd like to add my own experience w/ some of the things I found out........
I have a 95csi Turbo...2.3L engine w/ ACC......
Somewhere smeone said "you don't need to remove the bonnet"......thank God asthey were right, or the wipers and assembly. BUT....neither do you need to remove the heater hoses from the firewall, just need to disconnect at the extenders and move out of the way.
There are only 2 clips that hold the blower housng in place, and the one on the driver side is easy, the other one took a wile to locate (had to do by feel), but once found just ran a long screwdriver down there and the whole thing came right out.
I had no trouble getting the motor out or back in.
Putting the blower housing back was easier than I thought, once I had it lined up, it just snapped right in. The most trouble I had after that was getting the rubber piece around both the blower housing and the evaporator housing.... what a pain.
Whoever said to use the bungee cord to hold the evaporator housing up out of the way....my hat's off to you, worked great....and it really does only need to go abou 3-5 inches up and away to make room to pull the blower housing.
.My last hint.............do this job BEFORE it gets to be 105 degrees outside!!!
