Changing batteries in remote does not need ....

reprogramming. You are supposed to point your remote at the car and click the remote door lock button three times and that would sync up with the car again.
I have done this a couple of times, once when the battery went dead in the remote, other times, I took the batteries out to clean the inside of the remote apparently dirt and dust got inside the remote via even the tiny cracks in the remote.
