I can't imagine why Aero Snaab (who I seem to recall generally posts intelligent comments) thinks you're trying to rip off a car whith an initial step of purchasing a keyless entry system. Saab makes no distinction between the drivers door unlocking separately from the rest as far as the central locking system goes. I presume your problem is that unlocking the passenger door first sets off the alarm. If you hook up your own keyless entry, it will unlock all doors simultaneously. The simple solution is to disconnect the Saab alarm system and use the new one that comes with the keyless entry. Yours will probably have a siren instead of using the horn.
I'm in the process of putting one into my car at this time and I have an '88 with no factory alarm. The door lock module (which is where you will go to activate the lock/unlock feature) is located right over the clutch/brake pedal assembly. There are only two wires that are needed although I think you could get unswitched power here also.
The thing I'm uncertain of is whether Saab truly has a solenoid on the driver's door. Since the car typically is only opened with a key (these older models), I don't see where one would be needed. If that's the case, the keyless entry would not unlock the driver's door. I'm still learning.
